Gone are the days of remembering to turn the lights on and off, changing timers or adjusting the lighting levels. Now it can all happen automatically. The exterior of your building will be illuminated based on what is happening outside. For example, on a sunny day the lights will not come on until dusk, while on a gloomy day the lights will automatically ramp up as needed, thus conserving energy.
Inside lighting creates moods. Your lighting can be programmed to create the scene you wish your customers to experience. It can be set to gradually change as different scenarios take place at different times of the day. This is a particularly great application for restaurants or retail stores.
In areas of the building used periodically, such as a bathroom, motion detectors and/or light sensors can be used so that lighting only comes on as necessary. This not only conserves energy but also saves time by alleviating the need to make sure all the lights are off at the end of the day.
